Member Sign-in
This page gives members of the State Superannuation Fund direct access to a number of services, at any time of the day. To access these services, the member needs to have their member number and a PIN.

The member sign in area allows members to do the following:

First Time Sign-In
Members who have not used the website before will need to create a PIN. A member can create a PIN by entering this screen.

Regular User Member Sign-In
A member can sign in by supplying their member number and PIN.

PIN Change
In this section a member can change their PIN. Once changed, the new PIN takes effect immediately.

Lost PIN
If a member already has a PIN, but has forgotten it, they may request a new one. Instructions will be sent to their postal address.

If the member has changed their postal details, please request a new PIN via Contact Us, and include new postal details.

Personal Details
Once a member has signed in they can check their personal details and change their postal and email addresses. If members have not previously provided their Tax File Number (TFN), they can do so on this page.

Your Fund Details
The preferred communication screen maintains the member’s e-mail address and allows information to be sent via e-mail for fast and efficient communication with the GSO.

Benefit Estimate
The GSO recommend that your web browser/s are Internet Explorer Version 4 or above or Netscape Version 4.76. Please enable your "Cookies" to be downloaded in your browser options, if you intend to use the GSO Benefit Estimates option.

By successfully logging in via the Member Sign-In area, members need to select the Benefit Estimate icon along the top row of listed options.

Once selected, enter the Effective Date of Estimate. Select the Type of Benefit (eg. Resignation) and follow the scheme specific prompts to calculate the benefit.

The information provided to you is an estimate only. The Benefit Details provided by this service are based upon the information supplied to GSO by you and your employer during your membership. Prior to final benefit calculation these details are reviewed and in some cases modified based upon the most up to date information supplied by yourself and your employer. GSO reserves the right to modify your benefit in accordance with data subsequently advised post this benefit estimate.

GSO News
News from the GSO can be accessed via the GSO News button in the left navigation bar.

Hot news is displayed by default, and the full news article can be displayed by clicking on the Display link.

A search facility is available for finding a news article. This search can be made by News Category and/or a keyword search. All words in a News Article’s title are searchable in the keyword search.

Once a search returns a list of News Articles, the user can see the full title of the News article in Bold. Below this is the beginning of the article itself (first 200 characters) with a link to Display the entire article.

Clicking on the Display link will bring the user to a new page, displaying the News article in its entirety. From here the user can click on the Back button to return to the News search screen.

Fund Information
Information about the Fund can be accessed via the Fund Information button in the left navigation bar.

A list of schemes is displayed, access topics (in a given scheme) by clicking on the scheme link.

A search facility is also available for finding information. This search can be made by a specific scheme and/or keyword.

The search returns a list of topics. Clicking on the topic link will bring you to a new page, displaying the information in its entirety. From here you can click on the Back button to return to the search screen.

Forms
Downloadable forms are available on line to any user. These forms are in PDF format and you must have an Adobe acrobat reader installed on your computer in order to view these files. A link to the Adobe Acrobat reader download area is available on the screen for your convenience.

A search facility is available for finding the desired form. This search can be made by Fund name and/or keyword. All words in a form’s title are searchable in the keyword search.

Publications
Downloadable publications are available on line to any user. These publications are in PDF format and the user must have an Adobe acrobat reader installed on their computer in order to view these files. A link to the Adobe Acrobat reader download area is available on the screen for the user’s convenience.

A search facility is available for finding the desired publication. This search can be made by category and/or a keyword search. All words in a publication’s title are searchable in the keyword search.

Once a search returns a list of publications, the user can see the full title and the PDF file name. They can then download or open this file on their desktop. Publications may be split into multiple files.

Contact Us
This screen allows a member of the public to contact the GSO. A member may supply their membership number, or their First and Last Names. A non-member must supply their First and Last Names. A member's date of birth must be supplied.

A fund may be selected to specify which scheme, if any, this enquiry relates to.

The user can choose how they wish to be contacted regarding this enquiry – e-mail or telephone. Either an e-mail address or a telephone number must be supplied.
