Maintain Security on visited sites - Clearing History with Internet Explorer 5 or 6

The history option in Internet Explorer stores a list of all the sites you have visited, for quick reference. This enables you to click on your address bar in your browser, and select a visited web site instead of retyping its address. However in order to maintain security, and prevent others from knowing what web sites you have visited, it is a good idea to clear your history. Clearing your history will remove a list of all the sites you have visited from your systems memory and clear your address bar. To clear your history please follow the instructions below.

Select TOOLS from the top menu bar - a drop down menu will appear.
Select INTERNET OPTIONS.
Click on CLEAR HISTORY under the HISTORY option.  A pop up box will appear.
Click on OK.  This should return you to the main page on Internet Options.
Click on APPLY.
Click on OK to save changes.
