Enabling Secure Socket Layers with Internet Explorer 5 or 6 SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. The GSOConnect site uses SSL security to protect the information which it sends to your browser in the member area. If you are having trouble accessing the member area you should read the instructions on enabling SSL. When you are in a screen which utilises SSL you will notice a padlock displayed in the bottom right hand side of your browser.
