Enabling Secure Socket Layers with Netscape

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. The GSOConnect site uses SSL security to protect the information which it sends to your browser in the member area. If you are having trouble accessing the member area you should read the instructions on enabling SSL. When you are in a screen which utilises SSL you will notice a padlock displayed in the bottom right hand side of your browser. This indicates the information being sent is encrypted and protects your data from unauthorised access.

Click on the SECURITY option from the top toolbar- a pop up window will appear.
Select PRIVACY and SECURITYas the category from the left hand menu bar.
Select SSL.
Make sure that ENABLE SSL.V2 and SSL.V3 are ticked.
Click on OK to save changes
